How it works
6 months. 6 chapters.
6 hours per month.
Each chapter, the same four steps
STEP 01 · 1 HOUR
Insight & u-scan
Individual prep
A short video, audio piece and article around the theme of this chapter. And in every chapter, a u-scan: a brief 360 that gathers feedback from colleagues in a few minutes.
STEP 02 · 2.5 HOUR
Homegroup Session
In the Homegroup of 6
The place where the UGURU magic happens: six colleagues who know each other's context, form a close-knit group, practise together, and have conversations they wouldn't normally have.
STEP 03 · 1 HOUR
Putting it into practice
With someone in the organisation
Learning on the job. A conversation with a colleague, manager or team where new behaviour gets tried out, on a real situation that matters to the organisation.
STEP 04 · 1.5 HOUR
Walk & Talk
With a homie
Een wandeling met één van de homies. Frisse lucht en een goed gesprek: dé combinatie om te reflecteren en nieuw gedrag te verankeren.

LEARNING GOALS & STRATEGIC COURSE
FORWARD
Explore what the organisation needs, and what this asks of you.
From the very first chapter, personal learning goals are tied to the strategic goals of the organisation. Participants explore together what their growth can mean for the organisation, and the other way around.
- 02
LIFE LESSONS, STRENGTHS, PATTERNS
BACK
Dive into your history and discover which patterns are still at play in the here and now.
Real collaboration starts with understanding. Of yourself, and of others. Sharing personal stories creates connection, and insight into the patterns that get in the way of growth.
- 03
U-TYPES, CULTURE
INSIDE
Explore the five u-types and recognise yourself, your colleagues and your organisation.
Everyone has a first reflex under pressure. UGURU's five u-types give language to those reflexes, in individuals, in collaboration, and in the wider culture. Patterns become recognisable and open to conversation.
- 04
BEHAVIOUR, IMPACT, COLLABORATION
OUTSIDE
Examine behavioural patterns and your impact on others.
See and break the patterns that hold your team back. The lens shifts from me and you to we. Participants learn to see teams as systems with their own patterns and undercurrents. Nobody is to blame; everyone is responsible.
- 05
HARVEST, OWNERSHIP, EMBEDDING
BEYOND
Harvest what you've learned and look ahead.
Personal growth is linked back to the strategic challenges of the organisation. Participants formulate a Big Leap: what they'll do differently from now on, and how they'll embed it in their everyday work.
